ABOUT:

The Brooklyn Chamber Orchestra returns from pandemic hibernation with music of the great Russian masters, Prokofiev, Shostakovich, and Glinka. Saturday evening, June 26 in the historic sanctuary of St. Ann and the Holy Trinity Church at 8 PM. 157 Montague Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201

Peter and the Wolf will be narrated by actor Madeline Brennan, known best for her comical character roles. Instrumental soloists include Eva Ding, flute, Keve Wilson, oboe, Chris Bush, clarinet, and Nanci Belmont, bassoon.

Led by artistic director Phil Nuzzo, the BCO will perform the beautiful Overture to Ruslan and Lyudmila, the great Russian classic  "Peter and the Wolf" by Prokofiev and “Hamlet” by Shostakovich. As the city opens, the healing balm of music has never been more needed.
